Keep someone’s kids

in Quality Time

One of you replied to the Tuesday tip saying that he and his bride do their Valentine’s date on a day other than the 14th, and on the 14th they watch another couple’s kids so that couple can go out. WAY TO BE!

If you really want to be a blessing, do this for a young couple who really can’t afford to go out – and give them gift certificate’s for a nice restaurant and a theater.

Nathan, Good to hear from you! Glad this was a blessing. One of the great things about going to a blog is that it will be easy for great ideas like this to be shared by others. Paul

This was a great tip and my wife and I decided to do this - and we had a blast! We went out for Valentine's Breakfast at IHOP and didn't have to fight the crowds for a supper table. We kept a young couple's three children for about 5 hours, giving them an evening on the town that they won't soon forget. And it felt real good doing this for someone else. All because of a tip her on TGH! Thanks, Paul - and those who suggested it! Blessings, Nathan
