This is my “answer” to Kevin B. Bullard’s great post 10 Ways to Demotivate Your Husband

  1. Criticize her publicly.
  2. Fail to support her in front of the children.
  3. Expect her to do all the things your mother did for you.
  4. Complain about your sex life to someone who knows her.
  5. Let your mother get away with treating her badly.
  6. Tell her what you have done, after making decisions without her, and going ahead with them.
  7. Ask for sex no matter how she feels.
  8. Talk about how well some other woman does something your bride struggles with.
  9. Yell at her (this includes talking loudly and tone of voice).
  10. Expect too much from her.

how about adding "taking second looks at other women"? that's a big way to demotivate a wife. also....not safely trusting her and not living respectably? hello proverbs 31.

  1. [...] I can’t say this will be the most original marriage blog.  The idea for this came from two other blogs.  Kevin B. Bullard’s great post 10 Ways to Demotivate Your Husband came out just a few days ago.  It was followed up by another fellow marriage blogger with 10 Ways to Demotivate Your Bride. [...]
