Asking for your help

in None of the Above

Please donate © Daniel Schweinert | Dreamstime.comToday I am asking for your help; specifically, financial help. I mention occasionally that we are donation supported, and after much prayer we’ve decided to make a push for $5000 in donations between now and the end of the year.

You may be thinking, “that’s a lot of money”, and wonder what vacation destination we have in mind! Sadly, no, we won’t be taking a world curse cruise. The biggest chunk is for computers and software, as all our equipment and 90% of our software is more than four years old.

Beyond that, we very much want to put more of our time into marriage ministry. Towards that end, we are starting work on a couple of books that will both expand our reach and provide some passive income. To make time for writing we are cutting back on the day job, and donations will help us cover the usual bills while we write.

I know there are a lot of worthy groups asking you for money this time of year. If you feel what we do is helping marriages, then please consider sending part of your year-end giving our way. We promise to think nice thoughts about you while we are NOT on a warm beach. We also promise to keep working for better marriages, and better sex in marriages.

You can go here to donate by PayPal (no PayPal account required) or send donations to:

TGH
c/o The Marriage Bed, Inc.
PO Box 2166
Deer Park, WA 99006-2166

All US donations are tax deductible. Recurring dominations donations set up before the end of November will go towards the $5000 in both November and December.

By the way, I’ve added a thermometer to the right side of the web site if you are interested in our progress.

You have an awesome ministry and are willing to address issues that would not be discussed in most churches. Bless you and it is a privilege to support you by a donation.

Soliciting? Seriously? LOL. On a serious note, I hope your financial needs are met!

If you want to keep more of what you're receiving, consider Dwolla, rather than PayPal. They only charge .25 rather than a percentage regardless of the transaction size...

The typos have been making me chuckle lately. Today... "world curse" and "recurring dominations". Just poking fun at your editor.
