Baby Steps from Here to There

in None of the Above

I’m running a post my wife did last week because it’s just that good. I’ve switched the genders.

Where do you want to be in your marriage a year from now?

Five years?

Fifteen years?

Sit and imagine what that could look like. Maybe talk to your wife about it and dream a little.

OK, now get serious. Really serious … and practical.

What would you have to do to get from where you are to where you want to be? It’s good to talk about it, but if you’re going to get there you will need to actually do something

I’m a firm believer in baby steps.

Make a plan of very small steps and then hold each other accountable to do them. It may take longer than you expect, you may take some unexpected side trips, but you will eventually get there if you keep working on it.

Don’t let the drift of everyday life take you where you don’t want to go. Aim and work for your goals.

How am I going to live today in order to create the tomorrow I’m committed to?  Anthony Robbins
