The Other Side of the Coin

in Links to good stuff, Seeing Clearly

I have written about perfectionismmore than once; you can check those posts if you like. For those of you who don’t read the comments (often better than the post!) I wanted to spotlight a great thought on this dilemma. UBAwesome, author of the excellent and convicting blog Leading Men Only said:

I now live and coach by something I learned a few years back. “Don’t let perfect get in the way of excellent.”

WOW! Wish I’d heard that a few decades ago!

Thanks Paul for the mention. I too have written much on perfectionism. As a reformed perfectionist, it took me years also to realize it was killing me slowly and keeping me from being my best. None of us will get everything right or have the perfect situation or opportunity. Risk is inevitable; success is optional.
