I’m Not More Important Than My Wife

Do you think you’re more important than your wife is?

Few men would say yes, but some men’s actions scream, “I am more important than she is!”

Might be worth thinking what your actions may say about this. Or, if you’re really brave, ask your wife what she thinks.

  1. First let me say you two make a great looking couple that any person would enjoy just sitting together over a meal or coffee!
Your idea of action vs feeling is a powerful one. What does a person spend their time on? We have encouraged couples to log their next three weeks, per hour as much as possible. This seems very hard but take it in chunks: work 45 hours; sleep; approx 56, so how did you use the other 107 hours?  It is very telling as to what you deem important in your life. How much did you actually “spend” on your spouse?
Very often it comes back with many “I am sorry” thoughts.
Keep up the great ideas Paul!  Keep cracking that Romance code!

  2. Romance Man If you ever find yourself in Spokane give us a call and we will have that meal!
My bride just suggested logging time to her ladies – it would be a significant undertaking, but it would certainly be eye opening.

  3. God bless you both! You’re such a lovely couple and you are a humble man I must say. Not everybody thinks that way as a man. Stay that way! God is glorified!

  4. TheGenerousHusband Romance Man Yes it is a struggle at first. Ladies seem to be a bit better at this than the men do, but either way it makes folks focus on how they invest their time.
I hope to bring my bride out west one day and I will enjoy spending time with you folks.
